If I had a son, and I had to tell him the most important thing there is to know about living, it would be to believe in yourself, and to have an understanding of who you truly are, not what others think of you. If you can do this - if you can hold true to yourself, then live on, breathe. Live the way you should. Life isn't meant to be lived in ( Read more... )

to go with that thought... people that are afraid to take risks.. because of the fear of failure... That's totally not cool either. I have this awesome deal worked out to bring this 3 yo thoroughbred mare up here.. and train her and sell her... and my rents are like.. well you'll get too distracted from school, and what if she goes lame and blah blah blah. It's like 1) I have a green horse now that I'm training who is going away in December... So it's going to be the same time allocated 2) Even if I did spend some more time.. I am taking fewer classes next semester... and 3) Well maybe she could get hurt... And we'de have to deal with it if it happened... But its like..... Gotta take chances sometimes.... and when you get certain opportunities that are so great.. you can't just pass them up for fear of failure (or fear of someone else failing)... I'm fed up with my parents expecting failure from me on every level and every thing i do... :-\... I guess having the highest grade in EVERY one of my classes isn't good enough...

I don't think your parents really expect failure from you in every aspect of your life. I mean I don't know them, but I can't imagine them actually thinking that. It may be there way of making you strong. I mean, you are really strong. Maybe they know that. Not gonna let you have the easy way out. You're badass megan you know that! ;)

Ok, first things first, I love my parents very much and would be devastated if anything ever happened to them ( ... )

Sorry bout the Spider situation. But yea for TG weekend I'm not sure yet. I'm thinking about doing the Turkey Trot in the morning for sure. Visiting some friends over in Dripping Springs, maybe dress up as a turkey and walk around downtown drunk? What about you?
