Hello,
I'm a long time reader of some of the livejournal communities. I finally decided to make an account to create posts and make comments. I've been called a troll at this point for trying to join one community that has been having recent issues with a user, I can assure you that I'm not the same person...
I've owned horses for about 8 years. Been riding western for 12, english for 7. I've shown in about every class offered at MIHA and 4-H and have really enjoyed everything.
If I weren't fighting with my own equitation I'd feel free to post recent photos of myself. I've been off for a while with my horse off on injury and have horrendous equitation at this point. Lots of work to do!

My first time going cross country on my mare, also her first time. Scary first jump.
First flat class on said green mare, proving I ride like crap. Small benefit show.

Horrible equitation trying to grasp the concept of closing the hip. At least I let the reins slide. Buried my poor guy. First year jumping, I believe first lesson of anything but cross rails.
My first year showing hunt. Stirrups are painfully long.
If anyone reads this and is wondering, the bay mare was injured over the winter in the pasture. Coming in for feed she slipped on ice and hurt her shoulder. She's been working up to riding since March and is finally under saddle again in August.
The one eyed horse was bought that way. The man that had him before also had bought him that way out of Montana. He's been a great horse for me over the years.
