Happiness.... such a funny thing

So had a good weekend overall.
No fear Factory, I'll live.

Yea...thats about it.

Read this thing ---->

This was originally an english essay, but I figured I'd share my feeling with the world

When you walk down a crowded street; what do you see, what do you hear? You will see the pretty blond girl, wonder if she’s single and notice the begger in the gutters. Mumble “Lazy bum” yet still toss a few spare coins to him. But do you notice the child starving in the corner or the woman crying through her smile? How about the man abusing through his handshake? Or are you too concerned with your needs and wants. Along the street of life we never stop, we never listen. The life we have is nothing compared to what is going on inside us. Our problems, our concerns, they rise above anything and everything. Nothing else matters to us, we are a one-track train. People always desire more time but never spend it well. They want more information, but never think it through. So you want to be rich and famous and loved? You want these things because these ideals have been imbedded into people and now we believe them. The vision of happiness has often been altered by society’s expectations and the media. So what is it really? What is it to truly be happy?
Happiness is like soup; only for the soul. All these different ingredients are thrown into a bowl and mixed together to make something delicious. In the mindset of most people the three essential ingredients to the recipe for happiness are love, money, and looks. This is what society tells us we need and we believe it. Lets play a game of Hollywood says. Hollywood says be rich, you crave money and are willing to go to extremes for it. Hollywood says look well, you get plastic surgery and go on the south beach diet. More importantly one of the largest misconceptions of happiness would be love. The Prince in shining amour riding away on his trusty steed, the implanted idea of living happily ever after.
Often these are the standards to which people must live up to in order to obtain happiness. Are these customary ideals real? I don’t believe so; It’s having content within yourself rather than the material possessions or the world around. I know a person who literally has nothing. Homeless, poor alone, yet one of the happiest people I know. Is this possible, the answer; yes. This lonely bum likes the person inside him. He never lets the things he doesn’t have affect him and bring him down. How much of anything, money, love or looks a person has holds nothing over how far someone goes in life as a person. Sometimes the plain broth outshines the gumbo and like soup happiness doesn’t need to be complicated. Being happy is being someone that you like, to be able to look yourself straight in the core of your soul in the mirror and ask. “Am I Happy”. If the answer is No then do what you need to. It may take some soul searching, and a lot of time but the end product would be worth more than anything you could buy, change or love. So now the question remains; will you choose the Gumbo or the broth?

yea it was long, god forbid someone forces you to actually read something. Thinking, what a strange concept for people these days.
I hate the lack of culture we have here in this world. You people need to learn to think for yourselves!!

Fucking Idoits.

Kay. I'm done.
