PROMPT SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW OFFICIALLY CLOSED!
You guys are incredible and ended up giving us a ton of great prompts to work with. I honestly can't thank you guys enough!
Now that the prompt submissions are over, it is time to start writing and submitting those drabbles. Since we got so many, I've decided to split up the posting posts into 3 different ones - one for Dwight/Angela, one for Michael/Jan, and one for all the rest of the prompts. Dwight/Angela and Michael/Jan definitely got the most prompts by far, so I felt it was appropriate to give them their own posts. But please be sure to check out all the prompts on all three posts. There really are some great ones in all three posts!
And before any submitting or reading/feedback giving is done, PLEASE READ THESE GUIDELINES/RULES:
Submission Rules/Guidelines:
1. Your drabble must fit into one comment. That means it must be no more than 4300 characters. There is no minimum number of words you can have. If you get inspired and write more than 4300 characters, that's great! Just post what you think is the most relevant part to the prompt here and link us to the rest of the story elsewhere.
2. You need to use a subject line for your submissions that should look like this:
Title, Pairing, Prompt, Rating. Ie: 'What's Love Got To Do With It, Michael/Karen, we wouldn't have to justify, PG-13'.
3. Each drabble should be a new reply to the main post with the prompts. Please don't reply to one drabble with another as it makes thing confusing for the readers and the writers. If you do happen to do this, I will let you know and then delete your comment so you can repost it correctly.
4. Anyone can pick any prompts to write. That means that if it was your prompt but you really want to write it, do it. Also, more than one person can pick the same prompt, because we all have different ideas and points of view. So they are all fair game to everybody.
5. Drabbles can be any rating you choose. Just please make sure that you follow the template above and have the rating in the subject line so if someone doesn't want to read an NC-17 fic they don't have to.
6. Once you've written a drabble, please feel free to cross-post it to wherever you feel like cross-posting it. Just make sure that you let everyone know that it was written for our drabble-a-thon, that way we get a little bit more pimping and hopefully a few more people involved.
7. ANYBODY can write a drabble! Yes, that even means you!
8. As of now, I am planning on having the drabble submissions open for two weeks. That means that submissions will be closed on THURSDAY FEBRUARY 28TH 2008 AT MIDNIGHT. However, if we get a good turn out and things are going well and you guys are enjoying yourself and participating, I am definitely open to keeping the submissions open for longer than that. So really, it's all up to you guys!
9. Any questions or comments regarding the drabble-a-thon should be addressed
here.
Feedback Rules/Guidelines:
1. Please, if you read, take the time to let the authors know what a good job they're doing.
2. There will be absolutely NO FLAMES here. At all. We've got a lot of great prompts for a lot of different pairings and I'm sure some of them might be a bit off putting to some people. That is fine, just take notice of the subject line and skip over them. I want this to be a fun, respectful atmosphere and any flames will be deleted immediately.
3. When replying, please make sure you are replying to the comment in which the person posted their drabble and not to the actual original post. Any random floating comments will be alerted to the fact that they are floating and then will be deleted.
4. Once again and most importantly, if you're enjoying reading, please take the time to let the authors know. And pimping us never hurt anything either. ;-)
THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR YOUR AWESOME PARTICIPATION SO FAR. I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO AN AMAZING DRABBLE-A-THON!!
