Assuming that it was possible, could someone(a country) go to the moon and claim it as their own?

There's already someone that owns the moon.. after that guy filed the papers the goverments made it impossible for any one man or country to own another planetary body

No.
There was a treaty signed in the 1960's declaring the Moon to be a resourse for all of Earth, and no one nation may own it.
Even though not EVERY country signed the treaty, no country would honor the claim by any country that tried to claim the moon.
HOWEVER...
As history has shown time and again, if someone (anyone) got to the Moon, claimed it, and had the force of arms needed to back up their claim, well... that would be another story.

Heh, that's fine, you can be whatever you want. I don't know anything about Robots so I'll leave you in charge of them too....

I don't wanna piss off earth...we may need them to grow supplies for us....my next goal is owning pluto, just 'cause it's pretty and small and cute...
