The other present I wanted was goldfish...I really need a pet of some kind, and goldfish are easiest. I'd like two, a boy and a girl...I'd name them Flotsam and Jetsam

Hey... this is quite some time after you posted BUT - if you do get them, would you keep them in a large emptied olive jar?

I was going to do the very thing but then my brother took the jar to keep his change in. Bummer.

Hmm...I'd probably get an actual tank :p

It's impossible anyway because I travel a lot so I wouldn't be around to take care of them.
I had one when I was little though.
It was named 'goldie'
