Green Lantern, huh? Well, I think the concept of a ring that can create anything would work best in the hands of a guy who plays Dungeons and Dragons and always plays Lawful Good characters. The imagination and purity is important. I thin they just have not given the Lantern an imaginitive enough hero yet.
In my opinion, Batman was the most useless superhero. 'Course, he was just rich. As for superpower, I'd say super strength. At least its my least favorite-- Strength may be useful, but it doesn't do crap when other people can levitate things with their minds!
Well, Batman was a bit more than just rich. He scared the crap out of villains that Superman had a hard time intimidating. It's not just that he's a great detective, he is a freakin genius. The first time he meets a villain, he may get his but kicked, but give him twenty minutes to study the guy and he will find a way to take him down WITHOUT killing him. There's also the morals that Batman holds to no matter the cost. He may be freaky, but he never kills, even when it condemns him to a lifetime of fighting the same villains over and over again. Batman grabbed a god once to give Superman the time he needed to get back on his feet. THAT'S a hero if I ever saw one. He's one of the only hero's without power, yet he throws himself against the same enemies and still comes out on top.
