Ooh, that's a swell bargaining chip there... Go David's mom!

So, how good are you at buying things that aren't packed in plastic? Pretty damn tough, unless all you buy are fresh veggies and fruits... My next challenge, after reducing / eliminating meat consumption, is trying to live plastic free.

On that note, do you know where I can buy a glass water bottle?? Like, a sports bottle...

we're pretty good about plastics, though that one is a toughy. electronic equipment really gets you there. we don't buy a lot of stuff, mostly just food, and that is a large portion fresh vegetables. we only eat meat once every week or two. when we buy clothes, we go to places like oqoqo or MEC [organic cotton t-shirts, though i tend to prefer bamboo] or hemptown, where they have a sustainable materials mandate. or i just get old clothes other people are sick of. shoes can be tough to find, if you need something that does not look casual, though adbusters sells some, and so do some hemp stores. there used to be a vegan clothing store on granville, but it closed.

glass sports bottles can be difficult to find. i guess because if people think they're going to be rough on them, they tend to want something they feel is more durable. i don't know where to find one. i might ask at MEC. i don't think they have any, but they might be able to tell you who does.

I don't plan on buying a house cause I'm not in the moneys. I'm eventually investing in a condo. I use low energy light bulbs .. um .. I'm sure it helps. I also don't use aresol anything really.

Groove... even I don't use low energy bulbs, but I'm just waiting for the ones I have to burn out, so... Yeah.

Kudos to you for not having a driverse license too.. :D I don't know if "Cars are evil and they pollute" is one of your main mandates for not getting a license, but whatever. Good work!

Yeah, kinda. It certainly is the reason now. Originally it was the money and me not wanting to pay it. Even now it is still money and me not wanting to fill the coffers of some old rich man with a stupid mustache.

Working at Hydro has made me intensely aware that almost everything I do is murdering Big Momma Earth in a macabre and drawn-out fashion. So yes, geothermal energy, spread the word.

I really want to mix some of the YTMND tunes (Cosby, John Kimble) with the original tracks (Dre, Eminem, et cetera). That's our next project.

It's weird hearing intelligent and eco-positive words coming out of mouths with a heavy southern accent, but that's what I've been hearing these past couple days at this conference... Go USA! Er, some of USA anyways.

Yeah, there's much potential... I've tried twice more to burn that disc of acapella tracks... Maybe one of the files is corrupt and is messing with the procedure... At any rate, I've not done a lot of fun stuff as of late with said CDJ's....
