Here's how it's going down: I am going to Italy, but instead of fully committing and moving and selling my place, I've gotten a tenant for 6 months, and if I am happy there in six months, I'll then sell my loft and get all Italian. If I don't like it, I'll go to LA. I've considered all the things that would have to happen for me to feel like NYC

Ha! Finally someone shares my interest. Stealing focus in my common parlance means turning the situation around so I am the center of attention. I don't even really do it that often, but occasionally it is fun.

Yeah, I think it occurred to me when an AIM window popped up and stole my focus away from whatever I was doing, with potentially disastrous results. I like the real-life analog too. Analogies are cool.
