"And then, you can make me breakfast and then take me to kindergarten and then go to work..."

Lyle paused in the middle of wiping his nose on his sweatshirt to look down at his younger sister as she energetically listed off the things he had to do for her. He felt a bit silly, wearing one of his father's ties over his sweatshirt and holding a briefcase as he and Amy huddled in a corner of her room. "You're not old enough to go to kindergarten yet."

Amy shot him a look of utter disgust as only a four-year old could. "I am in the game! And you're my papa so you need t'take me to school!"

"I hate playing house," the boy grumbled to himself. "Why can't we play cars?"

"At least you're not the dog this time~!" Amy cheerfully reminded him. Lyle groaned, she did have a point. Maybe that's why he hated this game, Neil always made him be the dog when he and Amy were "married". So in all the silliness he felt playing house with his younger sister, at least he was maintaining some semblance of dignity this night. There really was no saying no to Amy, he and Neil were completely wrapped around her finger. Speaking of Neil...

Lyle turned to the closet door, "Neil, are you coming out soon?"

A muffled voice responded, "No way! I'm not doing this!"

His reply was a kick to the door from his twin. "You have to play if I have to play, Neil. So get out now before I tell mum."

"Neeeiiiiiiillll, you promised," Amy's voice was full of tears as she clung to Lyle who just smirked. He knew what game she was playing and he knew that Neil was already falling for it. There was a long pause before closet door slowly creaked open and Neil emerged. He was wearing one of his mother's fancy shirts so it hung around his small frame like a dress.

"You're such a beautiful mum!" Amy squealed as she flung her arms around his waist. Neil's face was one of utmost torture.

"Do I really have to be the mum?" He groaned as he petted Amy on the head.

"Of course," Lyle intervened, "it's the most fitting role for since the dress fits you so well." His twin's glare was killer.

"Nice tie snot-face." Lyle ignored the jibe, at least he wasn't in a dress.

"Two good brothers would make one good mum and one good dad. Aren't you glad I made you guys married?" Amy beamed. "I'm definitely the best at playing house!"

[Lyle wakes up with a gentle smile on his face that he just can't seem to get rid of]
