From Christian Bale's biography on IMDB.com:

Since reading "Charlotte's Web", Christian does not eat red meat.

Errr.. But Wilbur was a pig...?

It's okay. Christian Bale is still yummy. I had no idea he was Welsh. I feel dumb now.

Have you seen Newsies? It's *such* a cheesy movie, but still fun, and he is adorable in it. It made me fall in love with him in high school. :) He's in Swing Kids too, which has kick ass music.

I haven't seen either of them, but I remember when Newsies came out, and I really wanted to see it. The funny thing is... At the time, the reason I wanted to see it was that Max Casella was in it (he played Vinnie on Doogie Howser, MD) and I had a big crush on him. *blush*

Swing Kids sounds familiar... Anyway, they're both on my list of movies to rent now. :)

I've liked CHristian Bale ever since Empire of the Sun.

Pork IS red meat. Even this paper from the American Meat Instititute lists it as such.

The only reason people don't think of it as red meat anymore is because of Advertising from the Pork Council. Their campaign has been so successful that people are now thinking that that branding campaign was actually an official re-classification of pork. It wasn't.

That's weird. I never knew that pork *wasn't* white meat. I didn't know that the pork thing was trying to persuade people that it wasn't red meat. Well. I guess you learn something new every day.
