For some reason I get really annoyed when fan artists draw the trio (and the other characters) to resemble the movie actors. I realize that many people came to the series through the films, and as far as I'm concerned, the more Harry Potter love the better, but Dan, Rupert, and Emma are not the Harry, Ron, and Hermione in my head. One of my friends and I were talking about HP on Friday evening, and she mentioned that she'd like to start reading some fanfic. She's never been involved with fandom and has only read the seven Harry Potter novels, which she loves.
