Our zoo is free, since it's run (poorly) by the Smithsonian. Well, by people hired by the Smithsonian.

Well, that was a fun day. None of my immediate family ended up going, cause of chores and two of my nephews are sick, poor guys. Too bad, too, cause there was loads of kids there. One of my friends had a work freind of hers kids with her, since they all wanted to go and their Mom and Dad wouldn't get off of work til later. Three of the cutest little girls ever (5, 8, and 10, I think), and as usual, they took an immediate shine to me, esp the middle child ( ... )
