I am really surprised that someone as plugged in as you would get a physical newspaper delivered. You don't have bired and you don't take public transportation to work, so I don't see an obvious reason. By the time I grab my newspaper in the morning, I've already seen how the stories turned out online, so the paper just gives me a snapshot of what people knew yesterday.

I have but one statement for you my friend, one single word to shed enlightenment:

Coupons.

I pay $14 for the sunday paper for the coupons for like a 3 or 6 month period. I've probably already saved $50 because of coupons. Just recently I got a $10 off any $20 or more Kohl's purchase from the home deparment. My mom wants fiesta ware- the really bright cheery colored dishes? It was on sale 55% off, then I had the coupon, so I got a $48 dish set (that price is before tax) for about $14 after tax and coupons. I have $1.00 off coupons for hormel pork tenderloin roasts right now, for example. $2 off any Boston Market purchase over $10. Things like that. It's pretty superstar.
