I know what you mean about not really knowing what to write in here.

that "slavic culture and civilization" class sounds really cool. are you going to learn about czech or lithuanian culture (half of my heritage, lol gotta represent, even though I don't think lithuanian is slavic)?

yeah! it's very cool. I don't think ethnic lithuanians are necessarily slavic (although it's sort of an arbitrary label) but the country has slavic people in it and is sandwiched between slavic countries lol I'm pretty sure czechs are slavic. also mixed into the class are post-soviet states that maybe aren't slavic necessarily. it's exciting to learn about countries that not a lot of people know about.

yeah, I think lithuanians (and latvians and estonians) are considered baltic. But yeah, I love learning more about those countries, b/c you hear less about them.
