incidentally...no one was at my house at that time
therefore all the lights were indeed off

so I guess it all worked out in the end

yea.
you know what was lame about the whole thing?

that I was in the middle of playing a softball game when most of the lights on our field went out...not cool!

we had to switch to another field and continue with our game.
