This is kind of weird in the sense that the same thing happened to my roommate. She has a sheltie, Cody, who her parents were "taking care of" while she lived here and went to school. She went to visit them, and he was matted, covered in fleas, and dirty. She took it on herself to have him groomed (for 6 hours and $200 bucks), and then decided he would stay here with us. He's about 13 years old. She took him to the vets, and it turns out he has peridontal disease. They had to do bloodwork and everything on him too - Peridontal disease is the number one killer in dogs, they should have their teeth brushed every week believe it or not. Just bones and chew things aren't enough for them. Anyways. We find out on tuesday if he's well enough to have his teeth cleaned. He has a few more issues, like strange bumps on his stomach, and apparently he fell down the stairs last winter and her parents never took him to the vets, but it's around $1000 for what she's done so far and doesn't have the money to do anything else ( ... )

yeah I really wanted to bring him here but there's no way at all
regardless of everything he's way better of there, he has more space and stuff and he's at home with the other chihuahua [who ironically enough is starting to get fat too...hmmm wonder why]

working on getting a job
it kind of sucks because no one wants to even look at applications till October

but yeah, Buddy's teeth are in serious need of fixing
I don't know how much that'll cost and I know my mom won't wanna pay for it
I probably won't have enough for it
I'm just like freaking out you know, because it's like new bad things keep popping up every time I see him again and I just want everything fixed NOW

but I guess I just gotta be patient and calm and stuff
its just got me panicking x.x
