Question # 2

Apr 10, 2006 15:30

Can anyone recommend a good veterinarian in the Baltimore County / City area? I need to take my kitten in to be neutered.

Also...anyone who might be interested in a 5-6 month old female, long-haired, orange and white kitten? I've been trying to get my Mom or Sister to send me pics...so maybe I can get one up soon.

Go to the Baltimore SPCA website and order a Spay/Neuter cerrtificate. It will come with a list of vets that accept them. It should save you some money and get you good reccommendations on a vet. (i think the list is available as a PDF download on the site too)

They apparently aren't offering them anymore from The MD SPCA, but they had info about how to contact SNAP, so that still helped. Thanks!

I like Dr. Trujillo (sp?) at Light Street Animal Hospital in Federal Hill. (just go straight down light street from the harbor and it's at the end)

He's very gentle and will take his time with you and your pet. He has good rates. My kitties go there. Lipid has a hyperactive thyroid, so we've dealt with Dr. T a lot and we like him very much.

I also suggest Dr. Trujillo... He is not only JohnnyDust's father but he has reasonable rates and is very good with animals... :)

i used to work at doc side in fell's point...we didn't take SNAP certs but we had a special on spay/neuter for animals under 1 year old. he'll have to have his vaccines if he hasn't already. the doctors who work there are really competent and experienced.

my previous vet, Dr. Esra, who is way out in Bel Air, recommended a vet in fells point when I moved recently. She said they had lots of new equipment and were really up-to date on new treatments for pets. Maybe this is the place she ment?
