Oh, so many things I could say here...
But we will have to be content with H/D could never make me feel like this did. And I absolutely hated Captain Jack while feeling so very sorry for him at the same time. : (

Funny how things just hit you a certain way and you just cry, and then you think, "What? Did that just make me cry?" Certain episodes of "Buffy" and "Angel" have done that to me.

No doubt about it. The makers of these shows know exactly what to do.
There can be a mass shootout, millions dead and I'll just go, 'Meh, they were asking for it.' but have a small girl go with/taken by fairies (or something of the like) and hear her mother screaming and that's the end of me.
It's the kid thing, I know...
