I've been off the map for awhile, and I may be still. I just wanted to pop in and say hey. I hope all is well with everyone, and that the fires in Australia are far away from Draconin and his peeps.
Fires are scary and arson makes me so very angry. We get quite a few fires every summer, forest and grassland, and it never feels good. Sorry about the asthma. That is indeed sucktastic. I agree that arsonists should face the strictest penalties.
And yeah, RL has been a doozy, with massive changes at work, and now my bathroom ceiling is leaking. The landlord is tearing it up tomorrow. Sigh. The fun never ends.
Actually the asthma's usually not too bad. I went for most of my life not even realising that I had it until I was coughing in front of a friend who was a nurse one day and she told me I was an idiot. :-) It's only when the smog gets *really* bad that it becomes a problem.
Re the bathroom ceiling, I'll leave you with one thought: it could be worse - you *could* be paying for it yourself! Mine's also sagging badly and needs replacing but, since I own the house (with the bank) any work on it is going to cost big time.
I must admit that I know what you mean about the combination though. I find that generally work and home don't *both* go wrong (stressful) together. It's when they're both acting up that you really feel the stress levels. I hope things improve soon.
Yep! We're all doing pretty good here around my way. I hope that get your bathroom fixed without to much trouble. I've been doing a little bathroom renovation at my house, too.
