Hello again.

Dear Community,

As I knew most of the upper classes of Hogwarts would be spending time in Hogsmeade this weekend, I took the opportunity to Apparate into Hogsmeade myself. I had intended to make an excursion to spend an afternoon with Professor Binns, so while the school was vaguely empty, I took a carriage to the castle and spent a relaxing afternoon with the posthumous professor.

I did not happen to see any of my brothers while I was around the village; which, I suppose, is not a surprise. I'd have liked to check in on Ronald and see how his studies were going, but he must have been in Hogsmeade the entire weekend.

Ronald, I implore you not to waste such time in Hogsmeade. Surely an hour or two would have been suitable -- yet, you weren't in the castle all day Saturday.

I hope that your professors will see to it that they assign you more homework so that you may polish your skills. I certainly hope you were not off at that silly Cully Canyons Quidditch match.

I do believe I shall have to cut this entry short. For once, I am at home, and Mother has made a wonderful custard that she insists on serving me. Frederick and George, I suppose, are still at the shop, so I am forced to be the guinea pig. A man's work is never done.

This is Percy Weasley, signing off.
