(no subject)
I have just returned from the ordained "Quality Time" I was forced to serve with Snape. We played game after game of chess. The only good thing about spending an evening with Severus Snape is that the man does have a damn fine wine collection.
His music collection, on the other hand, leaves much to be desired. I swear the man owns nothing more recent than the 1800's! After much arguing, I finally floo-ed back to my rooms to get something less excruciatingly boring. We ended up alternating, which was extremely bizarre. You try listening to Metallica, Judas Priest and AC/DC alternately with Bach, Beethoven and other old dead Muggles and see how surreal things become. Or it could have been the port.
I swear, Snape's taste in music is reminiscent of the man himself. Repressed, musty, and old before his time. He can't even seem to relax in his own rooms! I swear he must sleep in his full formal robes. I wonder if the man even has skin.
Speaking of skin, Remus hasn't yet returned from London. The last thing I need after a night with Snape is to have to sleep alone yet again.
