Since Professor Lupin will be away tomorrow, I will be covering his Care of Magical Creatures lessons throughout the day. This will, of course, be the only lesson left to actually be taught, since Professor Snape and Professor Black have both cancelled their lessons in lieu of - well, in lieu. While Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts may be cancelled, all students are still required to attend their regularly scheduled Care of Magical Creatures lessons on time and well-prepared.
In light of my recent benevolent mood, as a special gift for Professor Lupin, I sent six pupils off for detention to repair the Shrieking Shack for him yesterday. I do hope Remus will appreciate it, as I'm not sure what else one can get for a werewolf.
During Professor Snape's absence, I have taken it upon myself to keep an eye on
Mr. Potter, since it seemed obvious he would take the opportunity of Severus's absence to "let himself go." However, aside from a few reported incidents of "dropping things", Mr. Potter's behaviour has taken a turn for the immaculate. Not a hair has been out of place, nor a shoelace. This behaviour change is most curious. I'm sure Severus will be most interested in this, indeed.
