twin_heaven CHARACTER
Name: Fuuma
Series: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles
Canon: OU
Age: Around his 20's
History:
Not much is known about Fuuma, but it is for certain that he is the younger brother of Seishirou - the hunter that is hunting down the vampire twins, Kamui and Subaru. In order to travel through dimensions, he had agreed to Yuuko's terms of becoming her "errand boy," but the true purpose of his travels continues to remain unclear. As it is, Fuuma had claimed that he is also a treasure hunter like his brother.
While traveling, Fuuma landed in Tokyo - a ruined world that contained acidic rain where the survivors fight over uncontaminated water. Approximately four years ago, Fuuma arrived and found himself becoming the leader of the Tower. The Tower soon became a threat to the Diet Building and their water, angering Kamui - the leader of the Building and one of the vampire twins that Seishirou is searching for.
He didn't make his first appearance until the day Syaoran and the others have arrived in Tokyo. Fuuma and Kamui were briefly engaged in combat, seemingly to be evenly matched in their fight, before Fuuma retreated back to the Tower with his gang, having been informed that another group was trying to steal their water. After the event in the Diet Building, Fuuma returned with Sakura's feather, knowing that the Tower had lost their water, having been informed of such by the Tower's priestess, Arashi. In return for handing the feather over to the Diet Building, Fuuma wanted to bring the people from the Tower so that both sides can live with one another seeing as one didn't have enough room for everyone and the other was beginning to run out of water.
As they talked to Yuuko (who was speaking to them through Mokona) about this, Fuuma revealed that he is Seishirou's younger brother, thanking Subaru for showing his brother kindness until Kamui attacked him, having been angered to know that the leader of the Tower was the brother of the man who was hunting them. Though, the two of them put aside their differences for a short time as Sakura woke up from her slumber. He gave her a compass that would be able to help her navigate through Tokyo in search of the payment Yuuko wanted for preserving the water under the Diet Building - the price being an egg located underneath a building.
While Sakura left, Fuuma spoke to Kamui and Subaru, telling Subaru that Seishirou was missing the older vampire twin and that he'll continue to search for him until they can meet again. Of course, this angered Kamui, but before the younger twin could attack, Fuuma asked him to stop as there were other people who were waiting as well. With that, both Kamui and Fuuma walked away, discussing about Sakura's predicament as they were both aware how dangerous the Tokyo night can be.
At the end, Fuuma hands over Sakura's feather back to her, asking her if it was really all right for her to leave it back in Tokyo. He warned her though that the quest to obtain his brother's will be much more dangerous, but he's sure that they would be able to overcome it. Once everything was settled in Tokyo, Fuuma soon left once the vampire twins, and Sakura and her friends left.
Personality:
Fuuma is a friendly person, even though there are times when he can become serious when the situation calls for it. Though, the times that he becomes serious are usually when there are others who are in a life-or-death situation. For example, when Sakura went on the journey to find the egg, he helped her by handing her a compass that would guide her to where she needed to go, and when the others were waiting for her, Fuuma made sure that Kamui doesn’t try to start a fight with him. Fuuma also becomes serious when he takes over the role of being the leader - ensuring that the people of the Tower would be able to remain safe as he made the exchange with the Building. Other than that, Fuuma can also be a bit of a tease. While he was in Tokyo, he enjoyed fighting with Kamui, getting every chance he can to mess with the vampire. Though, through this it’s because of this that Fuuma can also be called a masochist, but only when it concerns Kamui. Fuuma can also be adventurous, taking on any risks and challenges that gets in his way as he continues to travel to different worlds while running errands for Yuuko.
He also tends to hide his true feelings behind a smile - never letting anyone know what he’s feeling until it simply becomes too much to bear. Fuuma continues to live life with a carefree attitude, never letting anything bother him as he continues on with his journey.
Third-Person Sample:
"Your movements are becoming sluggish. Are you injured?" He was teasing when he asked that, but there was also a hint of concern in his voice. Fuuma was never the kind of person who would ever outwardly show his emotions unless the situation called for it, but that didn't mean he didn't care.
Kamui's eyes narrowed at him and Fuuma felt himself being thrown back. He released a chuckle, understanding the unspoken words in the Leader of the Building's movements.
"Don't act as though you care."
The hunter smiled, and finally seemed to have notice the newcomers standing behind Kamui. He hid his surprise when he recognized Syaoran, having heard of the young boy from his brother once. Fuuma chuckled as he stood up, brushing the dirt off of his jacket in the process. A part of him was amused by the sudden outcome of events, but he also had the feeling that something will soon occur in Tokyo.
As the Tower left the Building, Fuuma couldn't help but frown thoughtfully. It would seem that things have just gotten a lot more interesting.
First-Person Sample Journal Post:
[Accidental Video]
[There’s movement coming from the device before it shows Fuuma who’s looking around with slight interest. He notices the device, picking it up and raises an eyebrow]
Well now, this is interesting. Anyone mind telling me where I am? I seem to have gotten lost.
[He smiles at whoever’s watching.]
My name’s Fuuma, by the way.
