"Part No Longer Manufactured" was the message I received from John Deere's online catalog while looking for parts for our lawn tractor snowblower attachment. Granted, the lawn tractor is 30 years old (cast iron engines run forever), but from what I can tell there a quite a few of these machines still in operation.

I'm looking forward to voting on Nov. 4th. I know who I'm voting for, and I'm ready for this election cycle to end.

This one has been a little too long, and I don't know anyone who isn't tired with the whole thing. Hope everyone chooses to vote, no matter who they are vote for.

I got up at the crack of dawn, as usual, today and went to work. Now, by Wednesday I'm always running a little short on sleep. Something about leaving around 4:30am each morning kicks my ass. I like having a Winter. I like having snow. However, this is getting old now. Average ANNUAL snowfall in our area is between 40"-48". So far we've had over 85"... We've got over 22" of snow actually accumulated on the ground, and it's SNOWING more.

It's suppose to snow more on Thursday. I've just had enough for the year, thank you.

Huh... I really don't update all that often. However, FIRST POST of '08 down.

So I did manage to get someone here yesterday to look at the furnace and it turns out that the blower motor has died. Estimated cost of repairs: $700.00, and looking at 1 week to get the parts.

Damn it! It's freakin' cold in here.
