It seems you have always prided yourself on being able and free to speak your mind, so it really sucks that people would use that against you in attempt to have you self-censor yourself.
It seems, as a rule of thumb, not everything said in the 'heat of the moment' should be taken as anything more then passionate release. In turn, people reading who are taking offense should realize that, to those of us who are your online friends, they are fairly abstract entities. If we met them on the street we wouldn't know them any more then any other stranger we pass. So, if this is the result of bruised ego's, it seems a little silly of those people to react like that.
