Pain is pain and the hurt is real - whether you are 7,17 or 70. Age has nothing to do with it. Which do you think deserves more validation - being left by a parent when you 7 - dumped by a person are truly in love with when you are 17 - losing a job at 27 - losing a spouse at 37? Tell the 17 year old with an alcoholic or abusive parent - who has been shuffled from parent to parent for ten years - that their "completion" comes later. It may not be your real world - but the fact is - it is someone's - and it may be the only world they know, have ever known, or will ever know. The why you should contemplate is why there are so many teenage suicides? If you are correct - there should not be any. Age is relative. You are so full of complete and total shit.

what i was trying to get at with age is that when you're young you have time to fix these problems and a whole life ahead of you compared to when you're 40 or 50 or what not and have already lived the bulk of your life, change isn't that easy to come across when you've already been programmed. you've already set a certain life in which you live and if something inside leaves you then you're left with a gaping hole that seems nearly impossible to fill. true loss is when you lose something that you loved more than yourself (yes that is good will hunting). when you're 17, you have the time and ability to overcome and fill this hole, given whether you do or not is entirely up to you and your choice--you will ALWAYS have choice. as far as the kid who has been shuffled through parents and homes i suggest you take a look at the movie good will hunting. and as far as teenage suicides go the reason is beyond me. it could possibly be that teenagers have not been able to see past the barrier of pain that extort and bloat. real problems need real ( ... )
