Speed traps are fundamentally unjust and ultimately become an underhanded form of taxation.  For the rich they are a little deterrence towards speeding as they are rare, and when you can afford to blow one hundred bucks on a pair of pants, an equal speeding ticket, while an annoyance, is truly nothing more than a tax on driving quickly. I am so lucky.
