Today was an interesting day. Last night Mom told me that she would go to the Assisted Living place. I called today and the room is still available. She wanted to make up her mind over a period of time. She needed to do that so she didn't make a mistake. She feels that moving up here was a mistake. I'm glad that you're on your way to having a little less worry, but sorry to hear that your mother thinks that moving was a mistake. It sounds like the manager at her apartment is quite nice to let her out of the lease! That must be a big relief too.

ROFL...yeah right. I cslled her last night and asked her to come out the first of August and help get the apartment cleaned out. Her answer....it's too expensive and she is on a fixed income now.( she retired today) And I said then get a job. She replied that she waited 30 years to say that. I told her that was fine but don't BITCH about it. GEEZ. She's got more money than God and she won't come and help.

Ok sorry for the rant. But I had to laugh at your comment. You know her so well without knowing her. LOL

I'm glad that your getting Mike's mom settled. I think my mother will enjoy it once she's there.

*snicker* Deb. Too funny :-) Yes - another move in 6 months is a huge thing.

I'm so glad she made the decision Gail. I was afraid she'd procrastinate over it until the spot at the assisted living place was gone. I hope her current thought that moving to ND was a mistake is just a passing 'thing'.

I think she'll do fine. It'll just take some getting use to. Thanks so much for the support. It helps so much.
