Toby's day at the lake

 Long Pine Lake near Perham, Minnesota is an absolutely beautiful lake. Bald eagles flying overhead, loons and all the other water birds that you would expect in a Minnesota lake.

We were invited there by a friend of Hubby's.  It belong to his parents who are absolutely delightful people.  There were 6 other adults, 5 children and 5 dogs there

I think you're right, the outdoors made all the difference for me. I went out and sat at the end of the dock a few times and no one bothered me for minutes at a time. So that's probably what it is. You're able to wander.

I suppose if we lived at the lake, Toby would get to like the water but guess he's going to be content to be a farm dog. LOL

Dogs. Who can figure them out? Poppy loves to play with the hose. Used to swim in the dam all of the time when we lived on the farm and will swim out into the river when someone casts a bait (to 'catch' it of course :rolleyes:). Yet she will not go out in the rain and hates baths. Maybe when he gets bigger he will be the water-loving lab who knows? I bet he collapsed when he got home hehehe.

We had to go out and be social on Sunday too as it was father's day here. We actually had a really nice day.

LOL....sounds like a typical dog....not going out in the rain or wanting a bath. Toby loves to splash in the muddy water in the slough but a lake...no way.

I glad you had a nice day on Sunday. Hope all is well with you...I've thought about you a lot.
