So I removed a few people from my friends list after not getting a response to from them to my last post. I'd much rather have had a response from folks than to have to assume based on no response. So if you find yourself not on my friends list and want to be back on, chances are I want you back on too. Drop me a line

I've been busy with work and haven't been able to catch up with LJ properly for a few weeks (other than to make a quick post about not being washed away in the South Yorkshire floods!) so I've missed everything. I'd love to be added back but it's fine if you don't.

I've added you. I'm really glad to have sparked some useful stuff for you. As far as transmisogyny goes, I tend to see it as the overlap of misogyny that trans women face that cis women don't as well as the transphobia that trans women face that trans men don't, and that ends up getting at a lot. I write about it a little bit more in my political blog, nodesignation.wordpress.com, and I'd really suggest reading anything by Julia Serano, especially her recent book Whipping Girl.
