There are characters we want to play and are meaning to do so. But what inspires us to pick these characters in particular? What about them clicks in our head? Compile a list of the characters you are planning to play or hope to, then let your friends ask any question(s) about them.

I'm curious about what inspired you to select Hagrid, actually.

Well, first off, I actually haven't seen an active Hagrid around. You seen plenty of the Trio, Snape is everywhere, everyone loves the Marauders, Draco can be found just as frequently-- there are a bunch of Harry Potter characters that can be found in games or in Dear_Mun, but I seriously haven't noticed Hagrid anywhere in sight. And he deserves the love.

Another reason is that he isn't a main character but he isn't a minor character per say either. There is a lot of character to him but because he isn't such a predominant character, I feel it's sort of wasted and that he can be brought out more. I know "Chamber of Secrets" is a big book for him, but to be honest that has always been my least favorite of the seven so I rarely re-read it. Plus he has such a big and warm personality it would easy for him to make friends outside of his canon. Not to mention with so many games out there with bizarre creatures the big man will have days upon days of fun learning about (and playing with) them.

Aww, I think you're right. He'd seem to make a really excellent edition to any sort of game.

Now it all boils down to finding the right game for him. /pulls on thinking cap

Hmmmmmm, what would be the easiest and hardest things/traits/etc for you to portray of Castle's? I hope that makes sense o.o;

The easiest will be his geekery. The man is an absolute geek about anything and everything, ranging from X-Files to Firefly, video games to b-movies, even going as far as being offered the chance to write a three-book mini-series for James Bond-- it won't be hard to play out Castle's (not-so) inner fan boy.

What will be a challenge is balancing this nature of him with the surprisingly serious one can have. Despite his childish behavior Castle is intelligent but there are times where this is even more dangerous than his silliness. A lot of the time Beckett has to rein him in when he gets carried away or goes off to do something dangerous (and even stupid). There is a sort of balance in his character but the hard part is actually finding it.

Oh Castle~ ♥ I like those sides of him a lot. As far as a balance...I think that depends on the sort of situation he'd be presented with, you know? Plus trial and error, but that's the fun part. You get to see how you did with it the first time and see what you like/can change for later.

Oh, I can tell you right now, Donna would so keep him in line. She's used to that sort of nonsense with the Doctor and all. :|

He is the living embodiment of trial and error. He really is. And oh goodness yes. Donna will be perfect for that! ♥
