Oh my goodness ~ I thought zinnias were supposed to keep 'critters' away from the garden ~ apparently NOT all critters... Good that you could trap it ... where do you go to 'dispose' of said critter?
No, not cute at all. (Never mind the fact that S is sitting at the table eating porridge while I type this and can see the picture and his first words are, "Ohhhh, isn't it cute?!' :D )
How annoying that it did so much damage! Glad you caught it.
I have a few plants that I'll never get to see bloom this year, thanks to their free-loading ways. If only they ate clover, or dandelions, or something I have PLENTY of. But OH, NO, they've gotta eat one-of-a-kinds and favorites. Grrr...
The evil bad bunnies ate every last one of my strawberries, too, and I only have a small little patch. Yeah, three of them went for the long ride, too.
I know, it's so upsetting when that happens :( Luckily we're generally bunny-free at the moment (they're classed as vermin over here, anyway, so there is a government initiative to try to get rid of them) but the snails and slugs have been out in force!
