Those robins have great decorating taste though I'm not sure they picked the most peaceful spot. I've been watching for signs of a robin's nest on our garage again this year.

Have a great time visiting with Sahlah! I love meeting LJ friends in RL.

We're up to four eggs now - looks like they're fine with our comings and goings!

How many lj friends have you met that you didn't know before? I personally know six people who are also lj friends, but otherwise, I've never met someone I didn't know, so sahlah will be my first!

I realized I never answered your question. I've met six of my LJ friends in person. I met up with one friend in Chicago for a education conference, had LJ friends stay at my house, traveled to other LJ friends homes and spent a weekend at a cabin with several LJ friends. My husband has become friends with some of my LJ friends too. I read that you and Sahlah had a wonderful visit. Was she just as you expected? All my LJ friends have been as I expected personality-wise but I somehow had imagined their voices or height or something differently than I expected. :-)

Wow-- guess you'll be using the other door for awhile!

We're trying to use other doors for the most part, but I figure they knew what they were getting into when they built the nest, so we need to co-exist. At the very least, the mailman has to open the door to put the mail in the mail slot. It's up to 4 eggs now...

I love that photo, and I'm glad the robins are not scared of you and built their nest there. Their eggs are very pretty, too! I hope you can document their progress.

That's cool that you will get to meet Sahlah! I hope you have a very good time with them.

I'm glad you enjoyed it - you always post such interesting nature stories from your side of the world, and I love seeing those photos. We're up to 4 eggs now, so I'll post an update when they (hopefully) start hatching.

I'm so excited about Sahlah's visit - only 2 more days!
