I like both of those slogans! They convey what you do in a straightforward and yet eloquent way. :)

Thanks, it's tricky, trying to convey a lot with very few words. I hope it works.

Nice to see you on here again! I like both slogans, too.

That must have been great to get away on a little holiday, too.

Good luck with your expo!

It was great to get away...I'm surprised at how much that little vacation rejuvenated us! I hope you're feeling better - you've had quite a rough go of it lately!

Yes, I am finally feeling better! Thanks for asking. Yes, I was very sick.

It's funny how even a small vacation can have such a rejuvenating effect. In the middle of study I took a one day trip down to my daughter's, and I was amazed at how much it refreshed me!

I see by following the link that Shires is classified as folk music. Easier to label it than way than folk-country-blues-pop-swing-rock-singer/songwriter, I guess, although even my description still doesn't nail it down. She reminds me a lot of Rosanne Cash.

Lyrics went out via snail mail today - your description is oddly accurate - I wouldn't think "folk music" for her - if I had to go with an established genre, maybe alt-country? But singer-songwriter, while a person could write any kind of music and qualify, at least suggests lyric-based music, which she puts out, like Isbell, and even Ryan Adams - sometimes he's rock, sometimes country, sometimes Idunno, maybe adult alternative? But singer-songwriter lets me know I'll listen more intently.

Lyrics came today. I had already tracked down "Garden," because I had reached the point where I just had to know those lyrics right now! The grey-eyed doves verse is killer. Little Ms. Sunshine she isn't. Have you gone looking for her other stuff?

Jeez, well then - I guess lyrics went in the mail yesterday, eh? I haven't checked out anything else and you're right, don't let that angel-clear voice fool you. Dark, but in a sardonic way, not in a depressing kind of way.
