i feel like it's especially obnoxious with a band like the trucks, where it's such surface-level music but people think of it as a political tirade.

I don't like listening to music about singing about their dicks. And I don't like listening to music from girls singing about their tits and vibrators and getting drunk and riding bikes. I think they are more embarrassing for females than empowering.

Plus, Kristen used to be in Assymetry which were an awesome band. Then they broke up and the Trucks started. So I dislike them even more.
