Just for the record - I don't blindly hate Apple. In fact, quite the opposite. I am in awe of them. Apple continually screws its core customer base and yet they beg for more. They have so successfully marketed a superiority complex (overpay for our products or you'll be like that geeky PC guy in our commercials) that what I consider to be otherwise

I agree with you, it's the attitude that is the most annoying and obnoxious. It's like in the camera world, in my experience more nikon users brag and show-boat about their equipment more than those who use Canon. It's amazing how the users develop a superiority complex over stuff they had no part in creating! They just use it, and they use it in such a narrow way (because apple doesn't give many options) that's easy and doesn't require them to have much tech knowledge
