Man, I love the old Jayme series. I'm sticking with the new one because it has so much potential, but it's largely being wasted.

Firestorm is confusing the hell out of me. Again, sticking with it for potential and because I love the character.

Batwing is surprisingly good for a Winick book. Great art.

I heard good things about the "Challengers" DC Universe Presents arc, but never picked it up. The current arc has Vandal Savage doing a Hannibal Lector thing and it's pretty cool.

I... really loved Winick's books a few years back and only stopped reading them when I fell out of comics as a whole shortly after One Year Later. Which was mostly because One Year Later upset a lot of the arcs I'd been enjoying, most especially the Firestorm from then, and Winick's excellent Green Arrow. I really enjoyed the first few issues of Blue Beetle back then, but continuing the series was a casualty of the comic fallout. I'm thrilled to be checking it out again, especially since I've been a fan of writer John Rogers since the start of his screenwriting years (I love The Core - suck it, haters). His Dungeons & Dragons comic from last year is an instant classic and must be checked out ( ... )
