The one run of Thor that I hear everyone rant and rave about is the run by Walter Simonson. But you have about a hundred or so issues before you get there. The comic that sold the character to me was Thor: The Mighty Avenger by Roger Langridge and Chris Samnee. Sorry you aren't enjoying it so far, sweetie. :/ I hope it gets better for you soon. Also?

The BADGER? WTF? That's the most awesomely silly name for a hero EVER. Is he a Hufflepuff? Is his archvillain called the Dachshund?

I'm reading things in order, so, yeah, It'll be a while until I get to the Simonson run and even longer till I get to the Landridge/Samnee arc. I've got 9 more issues until Stan Lee and Jack Kirby take over the title, which I greatly look forward to.

Badger was a satirical indie title that started in the 80s, where the "hero" is a violent psychopath who opens the series by escaping from a sanitarium. It's hilarious so far, but very dark.

Badger sounds awesome. But you didn't answer my question. Is his enemy called The Dachshund? :P:P

And, as far as Landridge's comic goes, since that comic is a different (all-ages) take on Thor's first adventures, it might be fun to look at it once you've made your way through those same adventures in the original run. (We could read it together in March :D:D:D:D) (And it's still me. I switched to my account because my twitter connected thing was being screwy)

No, his enemy is a 5th century Druid sorcerer named Ham who's possessed by a demon named Lord Weterlackus.
