For the last time, my name is not "Train", it's "Tran". And no no, my brother is not "Subway" or "Monorail", and my parents are not "State Transit" and "RailCorp". Yesterday someone from my old school sent me a message, starting with "Hi nocktrain" (it's "Ngoc Tran" -argh-). And today in uni I had a hard time introducing myself, my English is so

Mmmmm....thanks, but I guess the sound of my name is awkward in English, so I can't blame ppl for getting it wrong^^ I'm just frustrated at myself for spelling "t" so similar to "d", so even if I spell my name out, no one will get it D:
I love the name "Noelle" but I doubt it's any easier to pronounce than my real name...

as someone who lived life with my name constantly mispronounced, i say, fuck them!!! XDDD hahahahahaha! well, do what makes you more comfortable. i know some peep say to just use your name, but i know how frustrating it is spending more time than needed going over your name with some complete stranger... grrrr~ but i stuck thru most of the time with my name. ^^ peeps just started to call me Kay more as an affectionate thing than anything. and now i just use that when i meet new people i know i won't ever see again. they don't need to know my real name. kukuku~ i'm going on and on about this aren't i? hahahaha.

Yeah, I've never met anyone who got my name right without me writing it down XD I tried telling them to call me "Tee" but they all ended up with "Dee" instead D: Since I'm born on Christmas, I think "Noelle" would be fine, I like that name but chances are that ppl will get it wrong, too, it's not a common name...argh-what do I do? D:

do you want to be called something different cuz you want it? or are you just giving in to the status quo? i say if you wanna be called Noelle bcuz you like it, go fer it!! and i've known at least 2 other Noelle, so it's not that uncommon. ^^ gamabare, Tee-chan!! XDD

Wow, the only time I head the word "status quo" is when Obama spoke of it, so somehow it gave me the feeling, like, we're talking about renaming the Earth or something big XDDD Anyway, it's ok, I'll just have to write my name down anytime I introduce myself ^^;;
