Journey to California 2005

Well ladies and gents, today I began the 2005 journey. I am starting my trip this year in Chicago, a mere 15 hours from Raleigh. Amazingly I drove through Indianapolis right after the Indy 500 ended (which I listened to most of the day on the radio, amazing race!), and saw two previous year's pace cars driving down the highway

I can't wait to vicariously follow your cross-country exploits. Be careful and stay hydrated, don't want to hear about any more near-death experiences like when you went to the grand canyon.
