Thank you so much for this lovely and perceptive rec - I really like how you describe the story, the attempt to repair the tapestry and the melancholy parts, since it is about loss as well. Am also glad you liked the style - stories tend to come to me in scenes, dialogue scraps and vignettes, and then I have to figure out how and in what order to patch them together, so it's nice to hear that it works for someone!

I loved your story of Draco and the manuscripts.
