So, the good news: there was only ONE Wraith hive ship coming to take over the Earth. The bad news: it was a superpowerful hive.
"Todd's ship?!" Jack sputtered. "Todd's ship?!?!? I don't want to be one to say 'I told you so', but... I TOLD you so!!!"
The sergeant flinched a little. "To be fair, sir, Todd's on Atlantis right now. He was overthrown by one of his lieutenants..."
Jack waved a hand. "Right, right, I got that. The one that Sheppard has oh-so-helpfully named 'Kenny'." He snorted. "Still: They're the bad guys, we TRUSTED them, and now they're attacking Earth. Am I missing anything?!"
Things were so much easier when he was out in the field.
Area 51 was destroyed, and with it a number of good airmen and scientists who hadn't managed to evacuate. And a whole bunch of alien tech, including the chair weapon that had been Earth's best defense against evil badguys.
The city of Atlantis had flown halfway across the universe, just like Fandom's Dex had told Jack it would, and was currently in a decaying orbit, about to crash-land somewhere in the Pacific.
And yet... they'd won. Jack watched the radar image showing the disintegrating remains of the hive ship.
Suddenly, something funny struck him. "Oh, my God, we killed Kenny!"
