Oh man, I forgot squirrel! We ate squirrel all the time growing up at my grandparents, cooked up like fired chicken.
And my 3 favorite foods are all pretty unusual for the average american palate (and all very fattening- haha!): sweetbreads, foie gras, and epoisses cheese ( a very, very, very stinky runny cheese).
Man, this is hard for me since I like unusual foods, I try to make a point of trying things I've never had before on purpose.
baby octopus, cooked mealworms, giant clams (pulled straight out of the ocean and eaten!), snails (french and chinese), alligator, etc, etc. I'll try whatever and usually like it. :)
Yeah, I'd love to trek around with Anthony Bourdain! It's a special fantasy of mine- it doesn't hurt that I think he's damn sexy either.
And we ate giant clams on Palau when I did Survivor. They were pretty amazing- and every clam had different amazing colors inside it's shell- purples, greens, reds, blues- very beautiful.
Yeah, I heard about Jen too. I didn't know her very well, nor was she really my favorite person on the show, but I would never wish her ill. It's too bad, she was very young.
