My pal Cameron Stewart was in a Vespa accident on Monday. He was going up Franklin Ave. towards Gentilly and was hit on St. Claude when someone made an illegal turn. Thankfully he was wearing a helmet, so his head is okay, but the rest of him is pretty beat up. He's in ICU with a shattered pelvis, broken ankle, a collapsed lung, and various other

That's awesome. Liz Z. offered to help me with organizing and I'm totally taking her up on it. We're thinking late September, so he has a bit of a chance to heal. And it's called "Six Million Dollar Cam" since he now has a bunch of metal holding him together.

I wouldn't do this for just anyone, but I know Cam's had a rough few years so I appreciate (and I think he will too) all the support.

Oh shit, honey! Poor Cam! My fingers are shaking as I type this. Thank god for the helmet, at least!

Anything at all I can do, you let me know and I'm your and Cameron's slave. I'll happily throw a painting or two into a raffle/auction. (And I still owe you one, incidentally.)
