i really doubt that splitting the country up into different states would do any good, simply because of the mindset of these people. They wouldn't be happy with it. Each of the sects believe that their way is the ONLY way, and they will NOT be happy until the entire world has converted. They're not going to be like "OK, we have our own land now, let's leave people alone." No way. That land would become their "base" for more terrorism or whatever they think it takes to get people on their side. It's sick.

I agree it has a low chance of working. But i also belive in the general publics good nature if left alone. most of the street violence is revenge based, so that it only takes a few deaths to start chains of people.killing each other. The crazy people will not stop, but the normal people would have to do more then pick up a weapon to kill each other. maybe give them time to cool off.
