I think Blaine is more Grandfather-librarian-chic than about to wear pink pants... even if the pink pants are totally awesome.

Haha, yeah I know, too much Darren popping out. In the original color plan his pants were a normal color, but I didn't like it and ended up messing around with the color and got married to the pink pants. Having the curls run free isn't helping either.
I figure since it's not slashy people can see it whatever way they like.
