KÄÄK

Moving today! I'm in a hurry! Have some pics before I leave!

On New Year's Eve we traveled to Gunma prefecture to my host grandparents place. It's a tradition to get together with their families to celebrate the change of the year, just like we do in Finland at Chrismas. Actually, New Year's celebration in Japan is pretty much like Christmas in Finland (and the other way around lol)

 Nice hills they had there.

DRAWING WITH ADORABLE HOST COUSINS
oh that's right I dyed my hair back to brown as you might have noticed in the previous entry.

i look kinda grannyish with that shirt and hair and face
BTW I LOVED THAT KOTATSU under it was a hole where you could place your legs and even more under they put embers to make it HOT! \8D/

gonggonged a bell (or whatever it was) when visited the shrine

HOLY MANDARINS

My host grandpa's brother had a new nice house in the same town so me and mom paid a visit. It was more like a Finnish summer cottage IMO (with two tatami rooms), even the scent was the same!
Yeah but here we're having a little tea party dgdhg

KITE MAKING!

KITE FLYING

MY KITE

Yesterday: my mom had bought me a cake. The decoration says "Anni arigatou ganbare" (Thank you Anni, Do your best (from now on too))

And then we ate it with handmade ice cream we made about a week ago.

The end.
