On turning 23, and merry-making

After your 21st birthday, there aren't really any big years. Growing up, there's 16, 18, and 21 (at least for us Americans, right?), but then after that...nothing to look forward to. Although to be perfectly honest I'm curious to see where I'll be when I turn 30. ...But something tells me I might be alone in looking forward to the big three-zero ( Read more... )

I don't know about the next milestone being thirty... everyone thought it was a big deal that I turned twenty-five this year. As for me, birthdays stopped being special when I was sixteen, so. :::shrug:::

Of course, but my point was that I don't imagine there to be such a large gap between milestones UNTIL you get to thirty. After that, you just start to feel old (or so I hear).
