Jesus ephing christ.

Please, get out of that situation as soon as you can. That is NOT something anyone should ever have to deal with.

I'm not using my room much and would more than happily vacate it if you find you need/want it.

Seriously, whatever else, this is very not ok with me what's happened and I don't want to see you stuck in that situation if I can do anything at all to help you out of it.

My kitten room is open on a temporary basis for all strays - feral or not. However, it's not very convinient and I know it. I will have to talk to Ron about it all but this sounds like it is bad enough to warrant a kick-in of the "emergency" clause.

I will get back home on the evening of the 28th and I can come get you on the 29th if needed.

It may just make the situation worse. She sounds like a vile person, someone to strike out like that. At least you have it documented.

Sending thoughts of strength and compassion your way. Hope your situation turns for the better soon.

And everyone can take it as they want, but I've heard, in a roundabout manner, Steph's version, and now Gid's version *because i like to check up on people i like and find out the truth before i go assuming things* and my opinion is that the truth is somewhere in between both versions *as it usually is* a mediator may be helpful if either of you are going to talk things over. Yes, steph is a hothead at times, but she's NOT a "vile person", and Gid, sometimes you can be very enigmatic and hard to figure out *which is NOT an insult, it's just the way i see it * and she may not have known exactly where that line was that she crossed. Then again, she may. All I know is that the truth is seldom only in one story, and everyone has a version of their own.

I'm sorry this has happened. regardless of what was said, she never should have lost control and hit you. Physical violence in retort to words is NEVER acceptable. But don't let outside forces, or well-meaning friends, exacerbate the situation in any way.

I've always said that there are three sides to every story; person A's version, person B's version, and the truth. However, I really do not think it is acceptable under any condition to strike out in anger; defending yourself is one thing, but a roommate attacking another is not a good thing-trust me, I know.

I have not yet heard Steph's version and unless her version is she did not hit him, what she did was wrong and she should get some sort of rage counseling or he should move, but that is his (and her) decision to make and I will not foist my thoughts upon them. I think a mediator would be a good idea, but finding an unbiased one will be hard.

More than anything I am sad and disapointed that this has come to pass and I hope a healthy solution for everyone can be reached.

Also, as a passing thought, you should take roundabout versions with a grain of salt.
